We follow Kenya's Competency Based Curriculum โ enriched with critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness โ across every level of learning.
The Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) places learner-centred education at the heart of everything. At White Cottage, we don't just deliver the curriculum โ we bring it to life through inquiry-based projects, collaborative problem-solving, and real-world applications.
We supplement the KICD syllabus with Cambridge-inspired frameworks, ensuring our pupils are not only excellent in national examinations but competitive on any global stage.
Fully aligned with Kenya's national CBC framework and KNEC assessment standards.
Enriched with critical thinking and inquiry skills inspired by Cambridge Primary.
Every pupil has access to ICT tools, coding labs, and Google Workspace for Education.
Differentiated instruction ensures every learner is challenged and supported equally.
Our curriculum is designed to build progressively on each child's abilities โ from play-based learning in Pre-Primary to rigorous academic preparation in Upper Primary.
Our Pre-Primary programme is built on the foundational principle that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. We create a warm, structured environment where young children develop literacy, numeracy, and social skills alongside curiosity and confidence.
Grades 1โ3 mark the transition from foundational learning to structured academics. Children build reading fluency, mathematical reasoning, and scientific curiosity through the CBC framework โ with strong emphasis on Kiswahili, English, and Digital Literacy alongside core subjects.
The Upper Primary years are where academic rigour meets personal discovery. Pupils study a full CBC curriculum across all strands and begin to develop specialist knowledge. Our Grade 6 pupils consistently achieve top placements in KCPE and Junior Secondary transitions.
We believe a complete education happens both inside and outside the classroom. Our co-curricular programme develops leadership, resilience, and creativity.
From football and netball to athletics, swimming, and chess โ we develop champions in every arena. Our teams regularly compete at zone and national level.
Our art studio, music room, and drama programme provide rich spaces for creative expression. The Annual Arts Festival draws over 400 families and showcases extraordinary talent.
Our STEM Innovation Lab, Debate Club, Environment Club, and Reading Champions programme nurture the thinkers, speakers, and leaders of tomorrow.
